About Us
Genova's Pizza Station & Take Out Kitchen was born from the combined passion of three men who value authentic cuisine and family above all.

Filippo and Gaetano Genova were born in Carini, Sicily where they first fell in love with the food of their home country. When they moved to the United States as teenagers their passion for authentic Italian cuisine continued to grow. This love ultimately culminated into two restaurants - Pizza Express Westend in 2007 and Casa Italiana in 2016. Genova's Pizza Station & Take Out Kitchen is their most recent project fueled by their passion to bring authentic Italian to the Richmond area.

Mike Jafari joins Filippo and Gaetano in this latest endeavor. Mike came to the United States as a refugee from Turkey in 2012 and in 2015 found himself meeting Filippo as a delivery driver for Pizza Express. His incredible work ethic and passion for food found him quickly moving to a position in the kitchen where he began to learn the ins and outs of Italian cuisine.
